Makayla Bailey is a curator and writer and current co-director of Rhizome, the net art initiative. Bailey has worked at MoMA, LAXART, and The Studio Museum in Harlem in both curatorial and development capacities. At Studio Museum, she organized the museum’s first digital exhibition, Hearts in Isolation. At LAX, she created and stewarded new membership groups, and organized major gala events. In 2020, she co-organized our Rhizome Benefit honoring Seth Price and Devin Kenny.
